How to Use Sertifier with Any App via Zapier?

Zapier is an web application that allows info to move between the applications you use

 

 

As you can see as from the screenshot. It allows the app on the right to trigger an action in the app on the right.

 

So, this way you can move information in between these two. These automations can allow you to get rid of tons of extra works.

 

We care for your time; therefore, we have also integrated Sertifier to Zapier too! Here we will show you what each of the lines on our action side means and what you should do with these. Please remember that somethings may work differently due to the trigger app’s configurations. In case of such an occurrence, please check our other manuals about specific integration. Once you select a trigger and filled up the necessary information, then you come the second part which is “Action”. Just type in Sertifier and select it.

 

 

Now, depending on what you want to do, there are four options that you can see in the picture below.

 

 

 

You can assign the triggered info to be a detail in Sertifier. This is the part that corresponds to the things you do in “Details” section.

 

Create a delivery is the part that is the same as “Send” section

 

“Add & Publish” Recipient ones are about adding a creating a new recipient and sending a new credential to them.

 

After selecting whichever one you need, then you will have to connect your Sertifier account to Zapier. To do this, you need you API key, which is available in the premium plan.

 

To find your API Key, please click the “Settings” on the left menu and find the “API & Integrations” tab in the opened page.

 

Under this tab, you can see your API Key on the left. Click on the green button below it to directly copy it to your clipboard.

 

 

Back in Zapier, you are faced with a screen like this.

 

 

If you have already integrated an Account below, you can work with it again by selecting it. For the first timers, you should click on “Connect a new account” button.

 

 

 

When this page opens up in a new tab, please enter your API key that you copied below.

 

At the third step you will be greeted with different pages, according to your selection at the first step. I will show you the most used one here which is “Add & Publish Recipients”. This allows you to automate the whole issuing part and you do not have to do anything for every single time.

 

 

 

Delivery: This part is about the delivery that you want Zapier to work on. For this to work, you should first open your Sertifier account. Go to “Send” on the left menu and click on “Send New Certificate or Badge”. Select the issue that you have created from here.

 

Name: Select the answer field related to the “name and surname” from the trigger app.

 

Email: Select the answer field related to the “email” from the from the trigger app.

 

Issue Date: You can select it to be set to any time you want, or the time that the trigger has happened.

 

Expire Date: The date if you want the issued certificates to be expired. This is not required.

 

Quick Publish: If you want the certificates to be published at the time of form submission select, “true”

 

Attributes: If you have added any customized variables in the certificate design, you can specify those to be automatically filled via the information that comes from your trigger application.

 

For the next step, you can skip or do the testing, as you wish.
