Credentials Complete Guide

Sending credentials has never been easier. Start creating & sending credentials with this guide.

If your account was created prior to December 30, 2024, please refer to the guide for the older version below.

New Version

To create a new credential campaign, simply click on the Create Campaign button located in the top left menu after logging into the application.

Now is the moment to create a certificate or a badge. You have the option to select which one you would prefer to design and send during the Credential Designs step. You can also choose to design and send both a certificate and a badge if you wish.

Once you have completed the design for your certificate, return to the Credential Designs step to begin creating your Badge design.

Next, it is time to to add details to your credential.

These details include all the necessary information related to the event or course that will be linked to your credential. 

Create New Detail

1.Fill in the Credential Title

Begin by entering the title for your credential. This title will serve as the primary identifier and should clearly reflect the nature of the credential being issued.

2.Fill in the Credential Description

Next, provide a detailed description for the credential. This description should convey the purpose, significance, and any pertinent details about the credential to help recipients understand its value and relevance.

3.Add Relevant Skills

  • Search for Existing Skills: Utilize relevant keywords associated with the credential to search for skills within our database. When you add a skill, related skills will also become accessible, offering you additional options that may be pertinent to your credential.
  • AI Generated Skill Suggestions: Our AI bot will automatically suggest relevant skills based on the title and description you’ve provided.

  • Add Custom Skills: If you cannot find a suitable skill, you have the option to add a custom skill. Simply type the desired skill into the search bar. If the skill does not appear in the suggestions, scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the option to add a custom skill.Screenshot 2024-09-17 at 19.27.27

details44.Choose Optional Fields

After adding the necessary details and skills, you can choose to include any optional fields in your credential. These optional fields allow you to further customize the credential to fit your specific needs and requirements.

The optional fields you can add to your credential detail includes: Credential Type, Duration, Cost, Level, Earning Criteria, Expiry Date, and Supporting Documents. 

 

After you complete setting your credential details, click Save & Continue. The details for your credential have been successfully added.

Now, proceed to design an email template for delivering your credential. This step allows you to customize the email that your recipients will receive, ensuring it reflects your branding and message effectively.

Finally, it's time to add your recipients. You have the option to conveniently upload a file in Excel or .csv format that contains the details of those who will receive the credential.

Once you have uploaded your spreadsheet, ensure that you match the attributes in each column with the corresponding fields required for the credential delivery.

In the final step, you'll configure your credential Campaign Options. Begin by entering a campaign title; please note that this title will be visible only within your account and will not be shared with recipients.

You also have the option to modify the Social Sharing Text to provide your recipients with pertinent information.

Finally, enter a Sender Name and Email Subject that will appear in the emails sent to your recipients. If you have set up a custom email domain, you can also manage the email address from which the messages will be sent.

Campaign Options

You are now ready to preview and issue your credentials. You also have the option to send a test certificate to yourself or to schedule the delivery of your credential for a specific time directly from the preview page.

Click the Send button to finalize the delivery of your credentials to the recipients.

To send a new certificate, simply select the Create & Send New Credential option from the top left menu once you log in to the application. This is where you can access and modify all the necessary steps for setting up a credential campaign.

Next, it is time to to add details to your credential.

These details include all the necessary information related to the event or course that will be linked to your credential. Start by clicking Select Details on the Credential Campaign page. Click Create New Detail to start creating your credential detail.

Now that you have added the details to your credential, it is time to move on to designing either a certificate or a badge.

You have the option to choose which one you would like to design and send from the Credential Design step. You have the flexibility to design and send either a certificate or a badge, or even both.

Generate an email template to accompany your certificate. This section provides the opportunity to personalize the email that will be sent to your recipients.

Finally, it is crucial to add recipients. You have the option to import them from your existing lists, or choose from your existing recipients.image_2024-06-24_233339532

You can also import an Excel file if you need to send this credential to a list of recipients.Upload Recipient

Now that you have finished all the necessary steps to send a credential, you have the option to make it private by toggling the Make Private button.

You are now prepared to preview and send your certificate. Additionally, you have the option to send a test certificate to yourself or schedule your credential for a specific time directly from the preview page.

You successfully sent your certificate! Check your email address in a few minutes. You can view your certificate via that email.
